Ueno Zoo, Fun Family-Friendly Zoo in Japan

Tokyo's most famous, most historic, and most popular zoo is Ueno zoo. It is an enormous zoo in the central Tokyo area and is a popular attraction among families, friends, and couples. The greatest draw since about last year are the pandas. Ueno zoo is the only zoo in Tokyo with pandas and in Japan, there is a bit of a panda craze. Even is you aren't that interested in pandas, I still recommend Ueno Zoo. I have actually never been after the pandas were brought over. I really enjoyed it, without the pandas. You will be able to see many animals including polar bears, anteaters, and gorillas. There is also a petting section where you can pet marmots, mice, rabbits, sheep, chicks, and goats.
