Quick and easy things to do in Yokohama #1

Rinko Park

I've decided to do a series of posts of "quick and easy" things to do in the Yokohama area and will start with one of my favourites - Rinko Park (臨港パーク) in the Minato Mirai area.

First, it's absolutely free. Second, despite being the largest park in the Minato Mirai district, it's hardly ever crowded. Or maybe it's because the park is so large!

Rinko Park a wonderful place to visit, especially now with summer waning and autumn approaching. With a full view of Yokohama Port, the park boasts a fantastic night view of the Minato Mirai area beyond the curving coast line. Fantastic for picnics, afternoon strolls, or a quiet place to read a book, this huge seaside park will immerse you in beautiful scenery while feeling the Pacific sea breeze.

I highly recommend a visit!

ACCESS

Address: 1 Minato Mirai Nishi-ku, Yokohama, 220-0012
Closest Railway Station: Sakuragicho Station (JR Line)
