I am going to introduce the reasonable way from Tokyo to Fuji Shibazakura Festival site, which is held between 18 April and 31 May.
Fuji Shibazakura Festival is famous scenic site that you can admire 800,000 shibazakura (moss phlox) and Mount Fuji together.
The most reasonable way from Tokyo to the site is getting on highway bus. First, you need to get on the highway bus, from Shinjuku, bound for Kawaguchiko Station. It takes about 1 hour 45 minutes. From Kawaguchiko Station, take “Shibazakura Liner”, a bus that you can reach the site directly. It takes about 30 minutes.
