2-Day Trip to Fujigoko (Five Lakes of Mt. Fuji) in winter 2/3
Lake Saiko Winter Festival
This festival also offers not only ice trees but also Japanese traditional performance such as “Wadaiko” (Japanese drums) and lively “Yosaki” modern dancing performance. Also you can experience “Mochi-tsuki“(pounding boiled rice into mochi). So, it is a great festival where you can experience several aspects of Japanese unique culture at once. The Wild Bird’s Forest Park has a special bird watching stage equipped with telescopes. Approximately, there are 210 kinds of birds coming flying to the park throughout the year.
