Crab at Andy's / Shin Hinomoto

Under the train tracks close to Yūrakuchō Station, you'll find the friendly and oh so delicious restaurant Andy's / Shin Hinomoto.

Andy's is a fish and seafood restaurant that comes highly recommended from everyone I've spoken to (and after my first visit, I surely understand why). Andy himself is an Englishman who has run the restaurant for 25 years - starting of each morning by heading to Tsukiji Fish market to fetch the very best ingredients.

Make sure to ask for the crab when you are there! Prices vary day by day, and you can buy the crab to share by the kilo. We were four people sharing 1kg crab for around 5000 yen. We accompanied the dish with clam soup, white asparagus, vegetable tempura and sashimi.

The restaurant has menus in both English and Japanese and is open Monday - Saturday, from 5pm to midnight. For a weekend visit, calling ahead to book your table is recommended: 03-3214-8021.
