Kirin Yokohama Beer Village
Yokohama is renowned as the home of the Japanese beer industry. You can learn - and taste - all about it at the Kirin Yokohama Beer Village. The Kirin Brewery Company, one of Japan's big four beer breweries, was founded in Yokohama in 1907.
Located in North Yokohama near Shinkoyasu Station (JR Keihin Tohoku, Negishi Line) and Namamugi Station (Keihin Kyuko Line), this brewery tour introduces visitors to the history of beer and lets them observe the process of beer production. The one hour tour ends with a tasting session of fresh beer.
Best of all, admission is FREE!
The Kirin Yokohama Beer Village is a favourite destination for locals and tourists alike. It's also a standard school trip event, as well as a great place to take your friends from out-of-town. Why not visit today?
