Here's another - BEER GARDEN BLOCK PARTY!

What started off as an attempt to bring Yoshidamachi's old-school neighborhood businesses together has turned into one of the must-attend events of the year. Located within walking distance of JR Kannai Station, the Yoshidamachi-ju Beer Garden is a two-day all-day blow out of food, drink, music and good cheer. Yoshidamachi's main street becomes a "pedestrian's paradise", littered with locally based Japanese and ethnic foods, prize-winning craft beer, and music and jaw-dropping dance acts.

It's a great way to check out one of the lesser known jewels of the city. If you haven't before, you definitely should. You can't say you've experienced Yokohama until you do.
