Service Robot “Sacchan” – Meet her at Huis ten Bosch

Huis ten Bosch Theme park in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture is one of the popular sightseeing spots for both international visitors and Japanese residents. They will have a new attraction called "Game Kingdom" starting from 5th of July.

At the Game Kingdom, our service robot "Sacchan" will serve as a facility and event guide. My company, Tekerobo Corporation has developed "Sacchan" and she has been very active at many public places all over Japan. Below YouTube video clip shows how she gets so many peoples' attention in front of a restaurant. She is very successful and a lot of people walked into the restaurant because of her. She is a very capable guide who can speak 30 foreign languages as well.

Game Kingdom has a lot of special programs. For example, they will have world's first huge 3D projection mapping "Taiko no Tatsujin （太鼓の達人）" game using the entire wall (size : 53m x 11m). "Taiko no Tatsujin" is a very popular and well-known series of rhythm games created by Namco. 10 major game companies will gather to share the latest technology and present future games in the "Game Museum". There will also be a big digital aquarium where visitors can draw fish and they will swim in the digital glass tank.
