Although a little bit far from Tokyo actually, I would like to recommend Kamakura City, Home of Samurai. The City is a very historical place where Japan's first samurai government was established at the end of twelfth century.
You will probably enjoy Rickshaws nearby the historical place, Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. Throughout the city, you would encounter not only historical scenery but also beautiful ocean views and restaurants along with long coastline, which is national highway 134. The highway is famous even in Tokyo, and if you rent a car and drive with your favorite music, it would be the best relaxing time!
