Gathering Place for Gundam Japanese Character Fans in Odaiba, Tokyo

You can meet the Mobile suit Gundam in Odaiba, located within one hour from Haneda Airport.

He stands towering over the surrounding garden of Divercity Tokyo Plaza! (3 minute walk from Tokyo Teleport Station/Linkai Line or 5 minute walk from Daiba Station/Yuri Kamome Line).

The full scale of the Mobile Suit Gundam there is 18 m tall. Very impressive. You will see him from the train and he makes a perfect Tokyo photo op!

They have both pay zone and free zone. Admission for the pay zone is 1,200 yen (advance ticket: 1,000 yen). In the pay zone, they have a lot of attractions including real video image of the Mobile Suit Gundam statue and famous scenes from the animation on a huge screen as well as full-sized Strike Freedom Gundam and Core Fighter.

In the free zone, they have a display area for more than 1,000 Gundam plastic models and souvenir shops selling latest Gumdam goods and limited goods.

At the end of your Gundam tour, please have a good resting time at Gundam Café on the 2nd floor. They have variety of foods and drinks associated with Gundam. For example, Jaburo Coffee is a smooth yet aromatic coffee by roasted coffee beans from South America where the Earth National Armed Force is supposed to have its GHQ in the Gundam animation series. You can take out their “Gun-Pla Yaki” which is their original Obanyaki menu shaped in the 1/144 sized Gundam Plastic Model and they have custard cream and bean-paste flavor.
