Super Hero Action Show

The "Super Sentai" series has been one of Japan's longest action TV programs for children. It started in the early 70s, with new characters featured every year.

Since 1971, the Tokyo Dome City (previously Korakuen) has hosted a Hero Action Show, that features the latest Super Sentai Action heroes. The shows run every weekend during all school breaks. During summer and spring breaks, the show may also run on the weekdays.

The shows run for 30 minutes and cost 1500 yen per person. The shows are very action-packed, including some special effects. They are very popular, so it is good to get to the park early and purchase tickets in advance in order to get good seating.

Some English information is available on the Tokyo Dome City Website.
